With details of new assessments due later this year (2016) it is certain that there will be some substantial uplifts on the grounds that rents have risen so steeply in the last 5 years. You will not be able to appeal until April 2017. The Valuation Office have not yet confirmed details of the checking or appeals process and seem to be limiting access to the basis of their valuations to frustrate appeals.
